Hi,

Does DNN support MySql out of the box? Having run the installation script (which asks for SQL Server instances) I'd say not but wanted to confirm. Assuming that it doesn't is there a way to install & run DNN against a MySQL database?

Cheers,

Matt

No, DNN does support Microsoft SQL Server (including free Express edition) out of the box.

There has been a MySQL dataprovider, but I am not sure, whether it is still supported and besides you will need a MySQL provider for every module you install in your DNN installation
