As we move into the new social era of DNN, most of us that use 3rd party modules are waiting, and evaluating solutions.  I've had a growing concern and just wanted to get some feedback.

Introducing social features in the module can mean a lot of things, to a lot of different people.  Wouldn't it be great for all developers, designers or users to be able to evaluate a possible module based on some sort of standard such as this:

Level 1 Integration: Simple tie into the journal

Level 2 Integration: Level 1 + the ability for social groups to have specific functionality

Level 3 Integration: ....

I'm not suggesting that those be the lines of demarkation, but some standard by which we can all evaluate quickly how deep a module/vendor is taking there module into the waters of dnn social.

Just my .02 ...

i agree and as a stop-gap until someone suggests a better solution I've been adding entries to the wiki to list those extensions I become aware of that use social integration - http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/W...
