Hi all,

I enabled localization on a DNN 6.1.5 site and all went well. I added EN-GB language and when I enabled it all the pages of my site were duplicated as they are supposed to be. This is a very cool feature.

Now I want to add a German version of the site. The language pack installed successfully, but when I click on Enable it does not duplicate the site pages. The only two pages duplicated are Search Results and User Profile.

Any ideas on what might be going on? Is there a wizard I can run or something to duplicate the pages into the German version of the site so I can mark them for translation, etc?

I have already tried uninstalling all aspects of the German language pack and reinstalling. Same results.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Language pack is responsible for translation of static resources only, it is not related to content localization. you might delete language, re-add and retry.

Thanks for the quick reply Sebastian!

I've already tried deleting the language pack and reinstalling twice. I understand the language pack isn't responsible for localization, but DNN does not localize the pages of my site when I enable the new language. It did localize pages correctly when I enabled the EN-GB language.

When I go to Page Settings>Localization on a page on my site the German language does not appear, but EN-GB and EN-US do. All three languages show as installed and enabled under Admin>Languages.

Is there any way to manually invoke the script that duplicates the pages of the site?

Hi David, there is a tool from Sasha Trauwaen on Codeplex, which might help.
