Hi guys,

My site (http://www.cooinda.org) isnt working as expected in IE9. I've used a standard DDR Standard Menu as a base for my skin, but have only changed its appearance. Hoping someone could shed some light as to why the menu does nothing when clicked in IE?

Cheers!

Hi Ky,

The menu doesn't work in IE 8 either. My guess would be the doctype. Do you have a doctype xml file for your skin? Looks like your skin is named Cooinda so your xml file should be named Cooinda.doctype.xml

Try using transitional, like this:

<XML>
 <![CDATA[<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">]]>
</XML>

Hi Ky,

Did you try changing the doctype? The menu does works in IE in Quirks mode.

Check http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quirks_mode and http://www.quirksmode.org/css/quirksm...
