We want to do an overhaul of our website and were wondering if there was a way to set the webpage as "under construction" while we make our changes rather than doing each individual update live.

you may temporarily create a new page "home" with the information and make it the home page, without a menu but a console module displaying to menu level, visible to page editors only.

I was wondering if you could give me step-by-step instructions on how to do this.  Our IT guy is gone and I've been charged with figuring out how to change our website and, honestly, I'm lucky I could figure out why adding a picture as an element is different from adding a module and putting the picture as content there.
