yes, you are correct. Just do not place physical ASP folder inside DNN install directory.

Hi Sebastian,

That is true, but I didn't think he specified that the classic asp app open in a new window. He is not running DNN at the root level, so if he styles his sites and menus the same it could be a seamless experience for the user. All he'd need to do is add a link from his cassic asp app back to DNN. Right?

BTW: IMHO You should win the DNN MVP! You've got my vote. Thanks for all the support you provide in these forums.

Yes - I echo that, and you also RIch. Thank you so much for the help!

I am getting a better handle on IIS as I do this. I am not sure if there is an advantage but I see now that instead of all my sites resolving to the same IP and using host headers I can set up each one on a differant IP and point to the same instance. It will make my web stats much easier to set up. Does Google care either way?

Hi Richard,

of course, if the mb duplicates design and navigation on both sites, he will get a seamless experience - but synching is a huge effort, and imho it would be easier to convert the ASP application into one or multiple DNN modules.

PS: thanks for your kind word - but I am never expected to win the MVP due to my personal diffences with the Community Chief in DNN Corp.

Cheers from Germany,
Sebastian Leupold
