[DNN 6.2.0] If I create a page with an apostrophe in the name, I can navigate to it and everything, but if I put an HTML module on it and then do Manage > Edit Content, nothing happens. Take away the apostrophe, all is well. Problem is, I really need the apostrophe.

I tried Manage > Edit Content from various browsers, none work, but another developer said using IE on XP seemed to work. Hmmm.

Any ideas?

And, of course, moments after I post the question I find the answer myself, it's a bug in 6.2. I need to update to latest version.

I'm having this problem as well (I'm also running 6.2). However, I looked at the release notes for 6.02.01, 6.02.2, and 6.02.03 and none of them list fixing this problem in the release notes.

Have you already done the upgrade and did that fix the issue? If you haven't done the upgrade yet, would you mind sourcing where you saw this had been fixed in a later version?

I chickened out and did not do the upgrade. I'm pretty new to DNN and never done an upgrade, and we're about to deliver, so...

However, I did discover a very odd workaround. I navigate to the page with the apostrophe, then set its "include in menu" to the opposite of what it currently is, apply the change, and when the page updates and returns, presto, the Manage > Edit Content works! It works basically once. And you have to remember to undo the menu setting.

I don't remember where I saw the reference to it being fixed, but it was somewhere in the forums. My searches were always really simple like "apostrophe page name". The post mentioned the problem and said it would be fixed in the next release after 6.2.0, so they weren't saying it had already been fixed, just that it was coming.

Oh wow! Toggling that option permanently fixed the problem. Thanks for the info, Ben!
