This has to be something very simple. I just installed the new 4.3.1 RC on my local host and when I try to upload files the Name field will not let me place anything in it and therfore will not let me upload a file.

What am I missing?

I haven't had a chance to look at 4.3.1 yet so I don't have an answer for you. Truth be told I've barely had a chance to look at 3.3.0 yet (I'm running 3.2.2 on my sites) and haven't even looked at 4.3.0 yet. Team members are in the same boat as everyone else is as far as DNN releases go. Unless we're also a Core Team member or which ever level of benefactor gets the releases early (Platinum?) we don't get to see the releases until you do. That said, I'll try to get a copy installed on my development system this week to see what's up. BTW when you say Name field, do you mean Title or where the user's name goes?

I understand, that's why I try to get it installed on my dev system as soon as I can. Need to work out the quirks.

It's the user name field. If i double click the field I can see a sliver highlighted left justified, but cannot type anything in the field. I thought it might be my google toolbar auto population stuff, but I shut it off and still get the same thing.

I am using which ever version is included in the 4.3.1 RC build.

Thanks for looking at it.

I believe that it is a 'host' issue.  Try logging in as an Admin and the User Name Field should be filled.

hum. Ok. I will try it tonight when I am in front of my other system. That would be a simple fix, but if thats it, I hope that could be fixed before the RC build is made final.

I will post the results as soon as I have them.

thanks
