Hi forum,

The Default Skin: Dark Knight Skin: DNN 6.2.3

I need to know who to make the Search box visible in the Dark Knight skin and how to edit the icons the DotNetNuke Logo and the Google logo that's attached to the search box.

The search box works, but it's not visible and visitors might not know it's there.

I want to use  Internal Search in a design based off the Dark Knight skin.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks

Make visible: Use Firebug or IE's/Chrome's developer tools to find out the used style classes and change these in the way you need it. Or you add a CssClass="...." attribute to the Search skinobject and define this in your skin.css file.

If you want to disable Google search for the search box, you can add an attribute to the skin object, as far as I remember it is DisplayWeb="False" (or something similar).

No idea how to change the logos, sorry...

Best wishes
Michael

most likely images are applied using CSS. I suggest inspecting the generated page using a developer toolbar, e.g. by pressing F12 in Internet Explorer 8 or 9 and using the arrow tool.
