Hi,

I've just recently upgraded my site from DNN 560 to DNN 615, and noticed if I change something in host settings, my change gets cached until I manually click on 'clear cache' or 'restart application' button.

e.g. if I ticked 'Show Copyright Credits' then update, after the postback the box was unticked again. however, I can see the box became ticked when I cleared the DNN cache.

Is it supposed to be like this?

Cheers

no, this is not expected behaviour, most likely, only the cache gets updatedm but not persisted, i.e. the stored procedure for saving host settings does not get properly executed. Please check all database upgrade log.resources files inside /providers/dataproviders/sqldataprovider folder for issues reported.

Cheers from Germany,

Thanks Sebastian, I've just checked every .log.resources files. they're all empty. I'm running out of ideas at the moment, I'll try upgrade another one of my websites which is using a professional license. I'll report back again shortly.

are you using default skin and container on Host Settings page?

No, the host settings page was using my custom skin. I've just tried to switch it to use 'DarkKnight' skin and containers, but still no luck.

btw, I just got my professional licensed website upgraded. No issue there. I'll keep investigating then.
