Hi all,

I see that links to documents look like this when I add the HTML to the HTML pro module:

http://intranet/portals/2/abc.doc

Portal 2 is a child portal called "HR".  Would it be possible to force the link to look like this instead?

http://intranet/hcm/abc.doc

We have some Word documents that link to other documents and unless I can get the second option to work, I'll have to manually change a lot of links to the first option and I want to avoid that.

Thanks,

Mark

You can customise the home directory for a portal but I think it is always under /portals though, so it would be /portals/

If you are a developer, you could write a httpModule that intercepts the request and formats those urls from:

http://intranet/hcm/abc.doc

to

http://intranet/portals/2/abc.doc

In fact, I think you could also use the SiteUrls.config and write a regex expression to do the conversion requiring no code (bar the expression to be written).
