UserInfo.Profile.GetPropertyValue(Name)  does not adhere to the default value set in the profile.

This results in casting errors all over the place

Several users have reported errors involving the error *could not cast string "" to integer* or *could not cast string "" to boolean*

 

Recommended behavior change:

Empty string should only be permitted to return when the type is set to string. In case of another type the default value should be looked up, returned and put in the database so the next time this value is requested a valid value is returned
