do you have a backup of files and database to restore? in this case, save current state and restore a previosly working state.

I do have a SQL Server Database backup, but GoDaddy fails to rollback the restore. In addition, GoDaddy also logs out if kept idle for a specific period of time.

please use FTP to download web.config file in root of your DNN installation and make sure, username and password for both uncommented connection strings does match data from GoDaddy SQL Server control panel.

FTP does not show the web.config file. That said, I believe that the actual website files might be on a separate server and not the one we are using for GoDaddy.

GoDaddy has given us the option to revert the website to a previous state. At this point, I believe that this might be our only option.

if you are hosted on Godaddy, web.config needs to be in the root of the website application. In IIS Management of your GoDaddy control panel you may find the mapping to the folder you are looking for.
