And to make it even more peculiar....  We have the site accessible through .com, .net and .org - .org being our default as we're a non-profit.  I still having issues with .org but everything is just fine when I access everything through the .com address.

Can you get to Host, Host Settings?

When I've had problems like this (when I have NOT made any changes), it was Hosted JQuery that was causing the issues.

I've got to host and host settings and have turned host JQuery on and off, cleared cache, etc and still nothing.  For about 30 minutes this morning, everything cleared up with our .com address and I was able to offload a lot of the more complex content from the page but the admin side never changed.

Did you ever figure out what was going on? I seem to be struggling with a very similar issue, perhaps the same issue.

I too was working on my skin, and noticed that my menu stopped working (wouldn't drop down anymore). The weird thing is that everything works when I am logged into the site as an administrator. When I am not logged in, or logged in as a typical user, I get the following javascript error:

Uncaught TypeError: Object [object Object] has no method 'hoverIntent' @menu.js:19
(I am using DNN menu and the latest DNN community version)

Can anyone offer any help?

Some more info, using IE9's Network monitor, I was able to verify that hoverIntent.js was not being loaded in the case of a guest user, or a default user. It does appear to be loaded for admin users as the control Panel seems to use it.

Is this a bug? The DDRMenu appears to require this file, yet it's not loaded. Additionally, what's the best practice for loading the hoverIntent.js manually as a work around?
