This is my first DNN 6xx install, so I don't know if I'm missing something or whether there is something really missing.

The only 'standard' module I see  is 'html'.   I don't see 'documents' or 'events' or any of the old 'standard' modules.   Am I missing something?  Or is there a problem with the install?

thanks.

Jill

Since I am never the only one with a question, I thought I'd 'answer' my own question.  I stumbled on this answer to my question (not by typing in search terms), but maybe this reply will appear for those who follow with the same question.

how to install modules..... how to install extensions.... 6.2.4

http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Wiki/Page/Included_Modules.aspx

You can download some of the 'standard' modules on that page.

To install a new extension on DNN 6.2.4,.....

1.  log on as host
2.  go to Extensions
3.  Hover over the Extensions title to reveal a 'manage' button.   Click on it.
4.  Select 'Install Extension Wizard'
5. Chose the zip file for the module you want to install and go through the dialog screens
6.  Find the module you just installed on the list of installed extensions
7.  Click on the Edit Module setting for that module.
8.  Select a category (eg. 'common') for that module, otherwise you won't see the module on the dropdown list and won't be able to use it.

DNN Corp. decided last year, not to bundle these modules with DNN any longer. You will find the full list with download links on the right hand side at http://dotnetnuke.codeplex.com
