I setup the host settings to use my gmail smtp with a gmail account.  Then I go to send a newsletter.  The email is sent but the From in the email on the other side is my Gmail address from my authentication.  The address I put in the "from" is ignored.

I want my newsletters to show they are from my website, not from my gmail account.

PS I am using my gmail smtp because otherwise the emails seem to always go into users spam folder.

you might need to configure the mail server to use from address in message instead of account name - I am not sure, whether this is possible with GMail.
