Hi there!

I have a rather simple question, but I couldn't find any solution anywhere, I'm sorry if this was asked already.

Basically, we have a landing page on our website, and we would like to track how many clicks we get with ads campaings. We'd need a simple counter of how many clicks we get for that single page.

I already checked, and Google analytics is not accurate enough, thus I'm wondering if DNN offers this kind of tool, or how I could proceed...

Thanks in advance,
KR

Emilio

Couple of questions/thoughts:

  • Are you looking for a free service?
  • Have you looked at the Banner Module? .. it tracks clicks -->  See banner module video
  • We used SiteImprove - http://siteimprove.com at my previous job and it was good
  • Do you need to track clicks on a banner or just visits to a page

Hey Clint!

About your questions:

- we'd like to find a free service, if possible, but are willing to spend a little bit if there was, for instance, a module to buy.
- We just need to track the visits to a page, no need for banners

Thanks for the advice about siteimprove, I'll consider it for general support, while for this "tracking" issue I wish I can find a solution w/o relying on an extern company, if possible...

Cheers,
Emilio

Emilio,

If you just want to track visits to a page then Google analytics should work.  How did you check & find out that Google analytics was not accurate? What did you use to compare?
