Hello,

I am trying to add a querystring that when a menu item from the navigation a querystring is added on.

Example:

A button on the navigation is pushed.. Events

Its default behavior is to go to http://url.com/events.aspx

I want to add a querystring to the end so it goes to: http://url.com/events.aspx?category=weekend

When i try to add a URL link  to the page, it falls into an infinite loop.

What is the correct way to add the querystring?

Thanks in advance!
Rich

are you linking to current page or an external one?

The Site Navigation (Events) currently goes to events.aspx, which is a page in DNN, but not the page I am currently on.

I need though to tack on a querystring so instead of going to events.aspx, it goes to events.aspx?category=weekend.

When i try to add a URL link to the events page, it causes an infinite loop.

Thanks!
Rich

Sorry to bump, but I've spent quite a bit of time since last week trying to configure this properly, and have yet had no luck.

Any tips would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks,
Rich

I usually have no issues providing qs parameters, unless it contains special characters, which need to be escaped (HTML encoded)
