Hello,

I am attempting to build or use a newsletter template in DNN.  I downloaded a custom built template, and I posted the code in the Rich Text Editor.  However, once I send a test email of the newsletter, I noticed that the code is replaced with "junk" and certain elements of the code no longer work.  For example, the original template code was supposed to have the functionality of anchor links for navigation.  However, when I add the code in DNN and run a test email, the anchor links no longer work.  It is as if the original code has been stripped.

What can I do to get around this?

most mail clients do not support divs and other newer HTML elements, you might start sticking with tables and inline formatting.

As Sebastian said, many of these features are not supported by email clients, including anchor's. Only the most basic of html is supported by html email.
