kamran, I've write a small article some days ago at than show some url with _ in a fresh 624 Community install :

http://www.devpci.com/Actualit%C3%A9s...

To achieve your goal, there are some modules who may help you and more on store.dotnetnuke.com
look at :
http://store.dotnetnuke.com/home/prod...
http://store.dotnetnuke.com/home/prod...
http://store.dotnetnuke.com/home/prod...
And more genreraly : http://store.dotnetnuke.com/home/prod...

In your case, this is strange than _ is stripped in DNN 6.2.4 . Does your DNN is an update or a fresh install ? Is it Multi Language ?

If your are aware of SQL, they might be an option by modifing StoredProcedure [dbo].[BuildTabLevelAndPath] and UserDefinedFunction [dbo].[RemoveStringCharacters] but you'll out off principe to not touch to dnn else if in this case there is no need to recompile any dll.

I have just check that url with _ is working in both correctly in both 6.2.4 and 6.2.5[may be some problem in my DNN 6.2.4 deployment at office system or i have modified some setting due to which _ is also stripping off]

But url with - is stripping off the - from url in both 6.2.4 and 6.2.5

For some reason at the moment i can't use 7.0.0 can i fix this bug in 6.2.5 on my own for stripping off - from the url?

Sebastian as you mentioned i have added a bug on support forum at http://support.dotnetnuke.com/issue/V...
