DNN has had an AD provider for quite a while, so I'm not sure why it seems to be characterized as "new". However, what DNN has not had is a role provider that integrates with the ASP.NET role provider. I don't see anything about this in the promo info. Will something like this be included in DNN7? Thanks!

AD provider is now included in DNN PE/EE packages, I am not sure, whether DNN Corp. did any modifications of the version available on Codeplex (provided by community fellow Mike Horton).
AFAIK there are no plans to integrate MS role provider, especially, since in 6.2 roles are now used for groups as well.

Cheers from Germany,
Sebastian Leupold

I'm confused about AD, then, because there seems to have been an AD provider for years. Was it only in the CE?
