Running Windows 7 with IIS 7.5, SQL2008, trying to install DNN 7.0.0 community edition.  I have gone through the normal procedure steps of creating the directory, copying the files to it, setting security for IIS7.5 after creating the application pool with integrated security and selecting .NET 4 as its version.  When I go to the address http://localhost/dnn700 to kick the install off I receive the error:

HTTP Error 500.21 - Internal Server Error

Handler "ExtensionlessUrl-Integrated-4.0" has a bad module "ManagedPipelineHandler" in its module list

I have installed various versions of DNN locally on my Windows7 machine successfully so I am familiar with the process.  This error though has me stumped.  Any thoughts on what might be causing it?  Is there something that must be installed into IIS that formerly wan't required and maybe that is why I am getting the error?

I had a similar error message on a shared server. That went away when I added .NET 4.0 Integrated Pipeline.

I'm getting the same error when I try to install DNN7, and I'm sorry if this is academic stuff but I don't know how to "add .Net 4 Integrated Pipeline." I'm kind of a first timer at this stuff.

Here's what I do know: in the settings for my DNN7 local site in IIS 7.5 on my Win7 machine, I have the .NET version set to 4.0 and the Managed Pipeline Mode set to Integrated. If this is not what you're talking about, or if there is something else I can try, please let me know.

Same problem here, hoping for a clear answer on how to fix it.

Does anyone else know what "I added .NET 4.0 Integrated Pipeline" may mean, and how it's done?

Thanks
