Hello,
i created a skin an installed successfully.
Now i want to make some changes to this skin ...

I tried to update with the newer version ... everthing seems to be ok ... but the changes don't works. Instead the old skin is already used.

So i decided to uninstall the skin. This also works without any errormessage.
After this in pagesettings the skin ist still evailable in dropdown.

The skin isn't installed anymore ... it isn't listet anymore in extension.
Why is the skin still listet in pagesettings ?

What can i do ?

Regards

Jürgen

I solved it today.
Uninstalling a skin with option "delete files" don't deletes the files really.

After deleting all files under portals\[x]\Skins and portals\[x]\containers and recycle the application pool .... everything is fine.

Why does the option "delete files" don't delete the skin files ?

If you installed it through the admin of host menu, there may be a database record of it and that's why you see it in a drop down list.

Make your edits to the skin, put it back exactly where it was and try again.
