Hello,

We installed the latest version of DotNetNuke 7.0 on a testing site and the installation reports no errors.

However, the following major issues cropped up:

  1.  No HTML Pro modules appear anymore; regardless of which skin I choose. I look at the event viewer in the backend and there are no errors of note so I am not sure what is the problem.
  2. Code like the following used to work:
    1. $(function () { $('#slides').slides({ preload: true, preloadImage: 'images/loading.gif', play: 5000, pause: 2500, hoverPause: true }); });

      but now this code no longer works. I get the "SCRIPT5007: Object expected " errors and similar ones in other browsers.

    2. I have the following code within a "Page_Load" event for the skin but it does not help:

      DotNetNuke.Framework.jQuery.RequestRegistration() DotNetNuke.Framework.jQuery.RequestDnnPluginsRegistration()

What can I do to fix these problems in the new DNN 7.0 platform? Thanks.

I have a similar problem. For some reason I can’t include jquery plugin files in my custom module. I was able to do so in version 6. Anyone solved this one?
