In DNN 7, the Contact Us page's Message Us "form" is simply an HTML module with a few text input fields and a submit button that doesn't perform any action. It is there to suggest what a typical page might look like.

For a working "Contact Us" form module I would suggest that you look in the DNN Forge at the DNN Feedback module or Helferlein Form module.

If you install the DNN Feedback module note that a bug in DNN 7's new Control Bar's Add New Module function will not properly add this multi-module definition module to the page. Switch (in Host Settings) the Control Panel to the legacy Ribbon Bar before adding the module to a page.
