I have not been able to get Auto-Sync File System to work on any version of DNN 6. It is checked, but files do not sync. Whenever I add new files I must use the file manager to sync manually. I have seen this mentioned elsewhere in the forums but has not been addressed that I can see.

Anyone have any suggestions, or is this broken? If so, does anyone know if it is working in DNN 7? Thanks.

this is odd, usually sync issues are caused by files or folders with special names, but those would prevent manual sync from running as well. Are you able to monitor the database, which stored procedures are being called?

Hey Sebastian thanks for your reply. It's been awhile but still haven't ever had auto sync work. I suspect it has something to do with permissions in server 2008 sp2 but I don't know. Everything else is working ok so I am afraid to change anything. I just manually do recursive sync and advise others to use the 'upload' function if they want new images etc. which works fine.
