Using DNN 6.2, I have a main site, and several child sites under it.  I must have installed a skin as the host, because the administrator of the child sites cannot see the skin files under admin -> File Manager, but I can when logged in as the host account.

Is there are a way to give these child site admins access to these skin files? (they want to alter the css and apply an IE9 fix) Do they need to re-install the skins as admins first, etc?

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

This isn't possible by design in DNN. If they want to customize CSS I recommend that they put their changes into Portal.css via the Admin/Site Settings, this will get loaded after the Skin and Container files, and should override any previously defined CSS

Can they re-install the skin as an admin, then have access to it?  Or is that not possible now?  thanks again
