So is there a dedicated forum for the Social modules/discussions?  If not, can we have one?

It's in the resource file somewhere (I found it once) but I don't remember what they key names are.

Unfortunately, it appears that notifications and messages share the same templates (unless this has been fixed in 7.0, but I doubt it).   They way they work right now, it's not very flexible.   For example, you can't provide a link back to the message or notification tab from the email notification.   

IMO, journal & messaging are great, great, great features that are being held back by some nasty bugs and general incompleteness.   Hopefully some of this stuff will be fixed in a future version.

Honestly, I don't think very many sites are using the social features at all, or you'd hear a LOT more people complaining about existing issues.

Without being able to append a token, something like [Portal:PortalName] or [Portal:URL] ... this message (from Message Center) is very confusing!

Did it  come from Facebook, Twitter, is it spam?

If I could append [Portal:URL]/[DisplayName]/Messages at least people could click on the link and go to website message center.

I like the direction that Team DNN is taking 'social' but they need to make it more robust to make it usable. The way it is, we are poor 89th cousins to Facebook.

Jason, I think more people would use 'social features' if they were more user friendly.
