Hi,

Are there any users out there who know of a DNN 5+ module that prompts a website visitor to enter contact details (name, email etc.) prior to allowing a download of a document (be it PDF, PPT, Word etc.).

I have a number of documents on the company website I run which are in the open on the page, that is they appear as a link with a PDF icon (say) on the page. When a user clicks the link, the download starts straightaway and displayed in a new browser window. I am looking for something that inserts a step into that process of asking the user to leave details first and then proceeding to download the document.

Thanks in advance for any help here. Regards Mark.

Mark,

I did something like that for a customer a while ago... We then decided to let the users create accounts and log in prior to download, but it would be not too much problem to re-implement this feature.

Let me know if you're interested by a personal message...

Best wishes
Michael
