Hi Guys

I've been away for a while doing other things, I've been asked to setup a website for someone, they want to do lots most of which DNN can do without getting any other modules, mainly they want to be able to email out to registered users.

What they would like to do it set up separate groups and on registration be able to select the group or groups that interest them, so that they only get targeted information relating to their selected group, should they not opt in to any group they would only get the regular newsletter and not all the extras that would get sent out to the groups

question is can this be done easily without any changes to the code

thanks in advance

Pat

I would suggest using Notification Forums and Roles to accomplish this.

Thanks,
Greg Hart
