I decided to try a "trail-upgrade" of my production site (www.AgingSafely.com) on my localhost to see what issues might pop up.  The "Master-reset" in Default.css cased a few problems when I replaced my old reset with the code from Default.css. Most were easily fixed - or declared a desired feature ;=}

 However, I now have a white haze of module on my pages that are not in focus. The same skin doesn't do have this on DNN6.  How do I turn it off. or where in the css should I look to fix it?

Is this only happening when you are in Edit mode on a page, or for pages even when you aren't logged in? I would look at a tool like Firebug to see if you can see which CSS is causing the issue.

Now that you mention it, this only occurs when logged in and in edit mode.  But it is still a pane.  I assume that this is happening because of all of the "transitions" giblets that have been added to the DNN7 skin(s)

Is there a way to disable the hazing-out of the module when in Edit mode. It is a pane in the but?

That's actually a new "feature" of DNN 7. I find it very distracting, particularly for older modules which must be in edit mode for non-admin user interaction. I have been using this css rule which can be added to portal.css or skin.css to prevent graying out of the non-focused modules on the page. I'm sorry that I cannot find its original forum post to give credit where it is due:

.dnnEditState .DnnModule

     opacity: 1.0;
}
