Hey all,

Weird bug.  I have a working 6.2.5 site running for 6 months.  Everything has been great, but today I tried to add a new page and found that:

  1. Any new page I add shows up on the menu, and I can edit the page content when it first displays, but once I move off that page, when I try to navigate back using the menu, clicking the menu item does nothing.  I just sit there looking at the current page instead of navigating to the new page.
  2. If I edit an existing working page, it appears to kill my ability to navigate back to that page also.

This is really serious.  Hopefully there are some experts out there that have seen this or can make a guess as to what may have happened.

Approximately 2 weeks ago I did install two packages purchased from the store.  Onytech complete, and a Skins module are installed but neither are being used. I don't recall if I have tried to managed pages since that install point.

Super appreciate any help.

- Scott

Can you check to see if there are any errors on the Event Viewer page that might point to an issue occurring? I can't say I've seen this before

Thanks Chris,
I think I've found the smoking gun, but don't know what it means...

In the html source, all non-functional URLs have 2 additional arguments defined in the <input name="__dnnVariable" element

 ,tar:\`_new\`

Non-Functional menu example:
{id:\`2251\`,key:\`2251\`,txt:\`Propose a Class\`,ca:\`3\`,url:\`http://heritagehsc.org/BoardOnly/ProposeaClass.aspx\`,tar:\`_new\`,nodes:[]}

Functional menu example.  (Doesn't have the tar and new args)
{id:\`2257\`,key:\`2257\`,txt:\`Class Proposals\`,ca:\`3\`,url:\`http://heritagehsc.org/BoardOnly/ClassProposals.aspx\`,nodes:[]

Is this core portal code, or specific to skins?  what does TAR and NEW do in this context and what might I look at to troubleshoot further?
