Hi:

I've been looking everywhere for a solution for this problem !

I have installed the community version of DNN 7 on IIS 7.5 in a subfolder called portal.
The site is working properly and I can access it via our IP:  10.10..0.18/portal

But now we need to access the site without the /portal in the URL, ie  10.10.0.18

I was able to achieve this by changing the Default Web Site to point to the portal folder. But the DNN admin pages, specially the Edit Page functionalities would not work properly.

I've played with Site Alias within the DNN Admin too, but didn't get anywhere.

Is there anyway of doing this? or do I have to reinstall DNN in root folder , which means losing all my pages?

If you're going to provide any help , please be as specific as possible.

Thanks in advance

Kamy
