I am not exactly new to DNN, have been using it for a couple or so years now, but i would like to know how to create a moblie site with DNN 7+. I have a customer that currently has a site and wants a mobile one that goes along with it. Can anyone give me any pointers ?

There are a number of different ways to go about creating a mobile website. Here are a couple of options

1) Make the current site more responsive, the ability for the page and content to resize/relocate based on the browser/device hitting the site

2) Create another portal in DNN and redirect users to that portal if they are visiting the site via a mobile device.

#2 is often times easier, but if you are using Community Edition you have to duplicate content across the two sites, manually keeping them in Sync. With PE/EE and DNN7 we have Content sharing available which allows for this content duplication without the problem of manually sync.

Just want to add that I've recently created a video that demonstrates some of these features. See: Cross Site Module and Content Sharing in DotNetNuke. Also, I'm working on a few mobile capability videos which should post sometime next week.

Hope this helps.

If by "sync" you mean share content/modules across sites the answer is no. Cross-site-module-sharing is a PE/EE only feature.
