I am not a fan of slider modules as they never do 100% what you want. I would look for a free slider or gallery script you like either free or from codecanyon.net and then use a temaplteable from module ( form and lis tor ventrian newsarticles ) and tempalte it to match the htmlyou need for your slider and gallery and just include the needed script in your skin
