I need some help with a solution or workaround to this issue.

Current DNN 6.2.6
Previous DNN Version 5.6.8

One of the sites I work on has a bunch of individual pages for doctors.  The pages are created all have just a page name set to something like this.

John Hancock, MD

Before in DNN 5.x the page URL would be rendered at JohnHancockMD.aspx

Now it is being rendered as JohnHancock,MD.aspx

The same is true for other special characters.

Besides renaming the pages, what are possible solutions?

Thanks,
Stuart

Are you using URLMaster or the free friendly url provider from Ifinity?

Chris!

Do you see any champagne around here ;)

It is the straight vanilla URL Provider...

The free provider works pretty darn good as well ;)

I honestly don't know of any URL changes but I would test 7.0.3 to see if maybe a bug has been fixed that might help.

I can't go to 7.x yet for "reasons".

It is interesting it seems that before the provider would ignore any sort of special character in the page name, such as:   , : - ! ? etc

but now it goes ahead and renders it so something changed.

Thanks for the attempted help ;)
