Hi,

I just wanted to upgrade to 7.0.3 from 6.xx.

When I wanted to start the website for installation, I got the following error message:

Line 243: <roleManager> Line 244: <providers> Line 245: <add name="AspNetSqlRoleProvider" connectionStringName="LocalSqlServer" applicationName="/" type="System.Web.Security.SqlRoleProvider, System.Web, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a" /> Line 246: <add name="AspNetWindowsTokenRoleProvider" applicationName="/" type="System.Web.Security.WindowsTokenRoleProvider, System.Web, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a" /> Line 247: </providers>

can anybody help?

Hi Rene,

I had exactly the same problem, what I did to solve it is:

In IIS Manager went to Connection Strings and added another connection String named LocalSqlServer with the same info about the server, database user and password as the SiteSqlServer connection string...

That worked for me...

(hope you have access to the IIS Manager console)

Regards,

Eduardo
