I was testing the new Dark Knight Mobile skin that has a built-in toggle button on the right (ToggledContentContainer.ascx)  Works great except it seems to ignore the visibility status of the module.  I checked the ascx code and found out it used a new registered Tag named 'Toggle'.

I copied the 'Simple' container skin to use the visibilty function to expand and collapse.  Now it uses the setting of the module to come up in the right mode. I wanted this so I could have mobile pages come up with several modules on it, all collapsed by default.  Then the visitor could choose which to expand.

My question is....  Am I missing something here?  Is the visibility function being replaced with the toggle tag?  Is there a restriction on other mobile devices that visibility won't support?  Is it an HTML5 thing?

I guess that was more than one question, but I want to know if modifying it to use the visibility tag is a long-term solution.  Or is the toggle tag going to be 'fixed' to support the module settings for visiblity?

THX

Nope, never heard back.  And now that 7.XX using the Gravity skin, I'm not sure that it will be addressed.

What I did was to modify a container skin to provide the functionality I needed.  It uses the standard expand/collapse feature in DNN.  On most pages, I set it to all closed, so that the user can see all the titles of the sections on the page.  On some pages, I set the main module to open, so they see the content immediately.

By the way, I also set the modules as copies of the main site's module, but just set the skin on that page to the mobile skin.  That way, when an editor adds/changes content or updates a calendar, they don't have to edit the mobile module as well.

You can see the skin in action at this address.  However, it has not been released to live status yet, so if you click on a menu item, you will go to the normal web site.  You can resize the page width of your browser to see the menu expand and shrink imitating a mobile device.

I'm curious on how exactly you accomplish this,  Did you edit the js code within the actual skin?  What settngs did you change?

Thanks..
