Hi - I'd like to create a module with a property that allows the admin to select a directory, from which the module will display the files within.

I've created the base module which  was pretty straight forward but I can't find a way to expose the properties to the menu that appears when you hover over the "Manage" button.

Any explanations/examples would be much appreciated.

Using 6.2 Community Edition

Thanks,

Jon

Research ModuleSettings. That would be the traditional place.

Best wishes,

Aren't module settings the same across all instances of that module - I was under the impression that tabmodulesettings would be what I would need.

Also, I've Google'd the cr*p out of these terms but have failed to find a straightforward example so any actual links to tutorials or examples would be much appreciated.

Oops - you are of course right.

I'm using Steve Fabian's module template. It has a Settings control and some (commented out) sample code in it.

He has a series of blog posts - http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=stev...

Best wishes,
