Opening the file DotNetNuke_Community_Source.sln in Visual Studio 2010 gives the folliwing Error:

The selected file is a solution fule, but was created by a newer version of this application and cannot be opened.

How can i go on with VS2010 and DNN 7.x.x?

You might need to upgrade to VS2012, or attempt to edit the SLN and Project files to bring them back in line with VS2010
