Now there is a text like "Search..." in the text input of the search box. I would like a blank textbox or a other text as standard.
How can I customize this?
Thanks for help.

Hi Bernd,

You can directly manipulate your search box whose usercontrol file is in
/Admin/Skins/Search.ascx
And its CSS file is in
Portals/_default/Skins/Gravity/skin.css

Thanks

Cheers..!!!

You can do it this way. You'll have to be ready to redo your changes every time you upgrade DNN.

I prefer to copy the usercontrol, change the copy. Likewise clone the skin and and point the new skin at the new copy

Why does no one suggest the easy/best way to do this: Just go to Admin > Languages, and edit the string...
