Were any errors noted during the installation?

Which version of DotNetNuke is installed?

Whick package did you use - Install, Starter Kit or Web Platform Installer?

If DotNetNuke v 7.x, does your system meet the new minimum requirements: Windows Server 2008 or Windows 7 with IIS 7.0 or 7.5, ASP.Net 4.0 or 4.5 application pool running in integrated pipeline (not classic) mode, and MS SQL Server 2008 or 2012 (express or full version)?

The redirection to the installation page is usually an indication that DotNetNuke cannot connect to the MS SQL server database.

I'm afraid that the re-installation attempt using the WPI would have overwritten the first installation's web.config file and possibly the database making recovery very difficult. Do you or your hosting provider have a backup of both the file system and the database that could be restored. If you do not have a full backup available, do you have a copy of the web.config file from which you could extract the original site's connection strings and machine keys? Do you know if the original site was using SQL Server express with an attached Database.mdf file or if it was using blank database created prior to the installation.

Otherwise, an experienced DNN developer/administrator will have to examine the site files and database to see if the original install and it's contents could be recovered.
