I have the same issue. How can this be achieved?

Hi,

I tried to make a copy (so exactly the same file content, but different file name) of the file upload control (for hiding the file and folder controls), but the whole project won't compile anymore:

Error 93 'If', 'ElseIf', 'Else', 'End If', 'Const', or 'Region' expected. C:\work\IIS\dekangeroe\DesktopModules\BIT\Kangeroe_Prestaties\Controls\BITFileUploader.ascx 1 1 KangeroePrestaties

Maybe my idea covers your solution, but I need to solve the compile issue first.

Best Whishes
Olivier

Hi, I know this is an old thread, but..I've got an issue I'm trying to work out myself, but it's farther along in the process than you the previous posters are, so I thought I'd give some insight on the thread to help someone in the future.

In code behind, you can get a reference to the UserControl like this:

DnnFilePickerUploader urlImageSource = (DnnFilePickerUploader)this.FindControl("dnnFilePicker1");

if a file has been selected, you can pick up or set the image Id using the "FileID" property on the control.

Hope that helps someone.
