I would like to direct your attention to the source file of DNN 7.0.3 Source Community Edition 'Library\Security\Roles\RoleInfo.cs' line 475 and 476 of the function 'GetProperty' which returns a string.

The two lines read like this:

case "datecreated":
      return PropertyAccess.FormatString(CreatedOnDate.ToString(), format);

The second line is quite self-explanatory: format a date with a specific format with the FormatString function. The FormatString function takes in 2 parameters both of which are strings. How do you suppose to format a date which has already been converted to string (CreatedOnDate.ToString())? I wish to format CreatedOnDate with the format "dd-MM-yyyy". All I get from what's returned by the 'GetProperty' function is the string "dd-MM-yyyy", not the actual date. By the way, this is taken from the source codes which I'm not encouraged to modify. How am I suppose to use the API if it doesn't seem to make any sense in the first place?

please log it as an issue at support.dotnetnuke.com - as to a workaround, without editing the code (which is never a good idea) the best option is to clone it into your own token replace engine (see http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/W... for an example)
