Hi.
I'm working on a simple contact form here:
http://www.enquiringminds.ie/Behindthescenes/ContactUs.aspx

This is the code:
protected void btnSendEmail_Click(object sender, EventArgs e)
        {
            string fromAddress = txtEmailFrom.Text;  //<<< This is entered by the (anonymous) user
            string toAddress = PortalSettings.Email;
            string subject = txtSubject.Text;
            string body = "From: " + fromAddress + System.Environment.NewLine + System.Environment.NewLine + txtBody.Text;

             Panel1.Visible = false;
            lblSentTo.Text = "Your message has been sent to " + toAddress;
            Panel2.Visible = true;

            Mail.SendEmail(fromAddress, toAddress, subject, body);

        }

+*+*+*+*+*+
The problem is that when I recieve an email from the site it appears to come from the portal administrator and not from the "fromAddress" given in txtEmailFrom.Text by the user  :/

Hi Ray,

Dnn has its own code to send Mail which might help you.

MailFrom = DotNetNuke.Entities.Host.Host.HostEmail;
DotNetNuke.Services.Mail.Mail.SendMail(MailFrom, MailTo, "", Subject, MailText, "", "HTML", "", "", "", "");

This code is carrying Mail credentials of the Host.
Which is at HostSetting>BasicSettings

And SMTP settings are at
Host Setting>Advance Settings> SMTP Settings

Thanks

Cheers..!!!
