Hi everyone! I have a system setup with the community edition of DotNetNuke 6, and it seems like something went wrong.

When I looked at videos about how to manage extensions and modules, there are supposed to be extra options in the CMS to allow for installing and managing more modules. Those options don't exist for me and the only way I've gotten new modules to show up via the Extensions manager is by manually copying the modules into the DesktopModules folder.

I've also seen things online about some kinda Aggregator module. I don't have this one in my list and can't seem to figure out why it's missing.

In the HTML module, when I go to the Image Manager, the Upload option is greyed out and only the Refresh button is clickable.

Lastly, after putting in some DDRMenu modules on a page, it seems they're only visible by admin users who are logged in; although, the HTML module is able to be viewed by anyone; even those who aren't logged in. Is there some setting I haven't figured out which would allow the DDRMenu to show up for everyone?

I know this is a lot of questions all at once so thanks to anyone who's able to help me figure this out :).

are you sure you are logged in as Superuser ("Host")? You may need to be in edit mode to get all options displayed for Extensions module. Be aware, that upload is available in Host menu > Extensions only!

Thanks for getting back to me :).

I did check as the superuser account and even in Edit mode, all the options weren't showing up. Same with the Image Manager.

I don't know what's causing those problems, but I did do a few local installs of 6 and 7 and image uploads are working as well as a the extra extension options. It looks like I just need to reinstall it on the server. I'll know more soon enough.

I saw post about aggregation modules for blog posts, but I'm guessing either I'm not finding it or that it's a module you need to add in. Do you know what module or system DotNetNuke comes with that allows displaying and storing a list of posts?
