I've downloaded the 7.0.4 upgrade zip.  I backed up the website folder as well as the database.  I extracted the contents of the zip to the existing website folder.  I load up the site's homepage and I'm redirected to /Install/UpgradeWizard.aspx.  I enter the username and password of a superuser.  I click on the Upgrade Now button, but nothing happens.

I searched for other instructions on how to upgrade, and I read about changing the AutoUpgrade appsetting to false and opening up /install/install.aspx?mode=upgrade.  I attempted this method but the page never loads.  I don't get an error, but the page never loads.  I'm looking for some guidance or what I may be doing wrong.

Thanks,

    Nick

did you make sure to unblock the upgrade zip prior to unzipping (right click file and choose properties. at the bottom of the first tab, click "unblock" if displayed).

Hi Nick,

did you already solved your problem? I'm having the same issue.
The wizzard does not respond to the Super User authentication.
The zip is not locked.

Thanks
Manfred

I deleted the contents of the website folder. I then restored the contents from the backup I created prior to attempting the upgrade. I then unblocked the upgrade zip. I extracted its contents over top of the website folder. I pulled up the site and was presented with the upgrade wizard. I entered the credentials and clicked on the upgrade now button and still nothing happened. I then attempted to clear all cookies and try again, same result.
One thing I did notice, while inspecting the markup, was a span with the id lblAccountInfoError. I noticed that when I click on the upgrade now button, this span's display property is changed from none to block. Then maybe 5 seconds later it is back to none. However, there is no message displayed. Is that helpful at all?

Thanks,
Nick
