Congratulations and thank you all core team for your effors.

I wonder if the core team can release a document about the upgrade process of DotNetNuke from 3.2.2 to 4.3 as a case study of the upgrade, and if any problems were faced and how they are solved.

Because I have a website runnung on 3.2.2, and it has large number of users and huge amounts of content and I am hesitated about the upgrade process.

Although I have not done an upgrade of a large website myself (only small internal one and numerous standard (default installations), upgrading from 3.2.2 to 4.3.1 should be possible in two steps.

- First change in IIS to ASP.NET 2 so your 3.2.2 site is running on ASP.NET 2.

- Then perform the upgrade by copying the upgrade package over your existing installation

Once the core is upgraded I would upgrade the newer core modules one-by-one.

It will also depend mostly if it succeeds on any non-core modules you have and how they behave in DNN 4.3.1

But above all: create backups first !!

Whoa.
I was wondering why the site seemed slow, looked different, and had critical errors (tried to view aggragated forum).

On the plus side- I seem to now have the ability to lock a thread...

Everything is working great for me.

Just a quick question... Is DNN running the same 4.3.1RC thats currently available for download, or is it the next on the list? Or will that be 4.3.2?
