I'm having trouble moving the modules as well. When I'm in edit mode and make the moves and then switch to view and everything reverts back.

I was also having trouble viewing the edit controls on the actual modules as well, but fixed that. In the host settings I had the Use Hosted JQuery Version checked (These links were to old .js files). As soon as I went to the installed version JQuery Version 1.7.2 and JQuery UI version 1.8.16. I started seeing the edit icons for all the modules. If only I could move them now and have it saved.

I'm having similar problems after upgrading to 07.00.05.  I couldn't see the actual edit/settings of the modules.  I fixed that by going to the host settings - Advanced Settings - jQuery Settings.  I had Use Hosted jQuery Version checked (which happened to be out of date).  I unchecked that and it is using the installed versions jQuery Version 1.7.2 and jQuery UI Version 1.8.16.

I'm still having problems with trying to move the modules around.  If I'm in edit mode and move a module then switch to view mode it will revert back.  If anyone has solved that one please do tell.

Eric,

I never did figure this out (the reverting back when leaving edit mode). I am trying to find the time to comb through every single web.config line and find out what difference between a new 7 install and mine is causing the problem. Unfortunately, I have a lot of lines that are different which isn't surprising given my site started in DNN 4. I kept hoping someone would solve this so I wouldn't have to... oh well.

So I finally had one of my websites (out of 8 on the same server) start experiencing the Edit Mode issue, though mine was different, it actually would prompt me with windows auth to login after clicking on the EDIT MODE button. Here's what I did to resolve it

My site was in a folder called wwwroot
I made a copy of that folder
I renamed the copy to wwwroot2
I pointed IIS to wwwroot2
had to do some hard refreshes, cache issues otherwise
now my site works fine
tried some fancy renaming, changing WWWROOT to wwwroot_old, and wwwroot2 to wwwroot, but couldn't get it to work
anyways, the site works now with IIS pointing to WWWROOT2.

I can't explain it, but I've spent the last 4 hours trying to resolve this, and this was the only work around I could get going.

I have the problem that i can't move modules at all?

Am Ithe only one ?

I have tried all solutions proposed here and elsewhere, even the "rename the path" way mentioned above ... all with no luck.

I am not sure since when, but i am on the latest dnn version.

The hotfix doesn't install, it aborts with the error "doesn't to this server" ... Hmmm

Is there any idea out there that hasn't been published yet?
