Hey guys, I'm very new to this, and I'd like to know if its possible to use Calculated Column in Form and List to return and average of all other records. I, personally want to think this is feasible and have tried putting this into Expression box for three of my columns that I want averaged:

  'AVG('+[X]+','+[Y]+','+[Z]+')'

What seems to happen is when I insert values of 10, 20, 30  that the calculated column field just concatenates everything and returns this: AVG(10,20,30)    instead of 20.

Please help!!

You just need:
([X]+[Y]+[Z])/3

Thanks for the above reply. This almost gets me where I need to be with one exception - I need to get the result as a integer with two decimal spaces. Of course, right now the answer is being rounded to the nearest whole number.

I've tried a few things for the syntax, but no luck so far. Please help.

Well, I now have it to give me a decimal value for the result (changed data type to decimal in the Input Settings list) but I still need it to be rounded off to two spaces after decimal point; however, right now I get a lot spaces after the decimal point.
